Editorial Policy
How we maintain independence, handle corrections, and disclose the use of AI-assisted drafting.
Editorial Independence
Dunstan Research Group is editorially independent. Our researchers select topics, define criteria, and reach conclusions without approval from any vendor, investor, or sponsor. No external party may review a report prior to publication for the purpose of altering conclusions.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Researchers and reviewers disclose financial holdings, advisory roles, and prior employment relevant to coverage areas. We do not cover entities in which a team member holds a material position. Reviewers with a current commercial relationship to a covered subject are recused.
Correction Policy
We publish corrections when supported by qualifying evidence. Our target service levels are:
- Acknowledge within 5 business days of a valid submission.
- Decide within 15 business days whether to issue a correction, update, or rebuttal.
- Publish corrections at the top of the affected report with a dated note.
AI Disclosure Policy
We may use AI-assisted tools for drafting, summarization, and editing. All AI-generated content is reviewed by human researchers for accuracy, sourcing, and tone. We do not publish AI-generated claims without human verification against documented evidence.
Prohibited Content
We do not publish fabricated statistics, invented awards, anonymous accusations, or conclusions that exceed the evidence presented. Endorsements and recommendations are framed as findings tied to stated criteria, not universal truths.
Publication Standards
Every published report includes a research question, criteria, evidence classes, findings, proof gaps, limitations, source notes, disclosure, and a correction pathway. Reports without sufficient evidence to meet our gating tests remain in draft or are not published.
